Order accuracy rate, units picked per hour, error rates, damage claims: these are the numbers an operations manager actually screens for. A line that says "supervised warehouse staff" tells them nothing they cannot assume; a line that says what changed under your supervision does.
Manhattan Associates, SAP EWM, NetSuite: a hiring manager planning your onboarding wants to know exactly which systems overlap with what you already know. Same with equipment: name your forklift class, whether you are trainer-certified, and any RF scanner or labor management system you have used.
Days without a recordable incident, your OSHA training level, and any safety program you built or led carry as much weight in this field as productivity numbers. List them plainly rather than folding safety into a general bullet about "maintaining a safe work environment."
A common mistake is listing every task performed during a typical day. A hiring manager already knows what a warehouse supervisor generally does. What they are reading for is what you changed: a reorganized schedule, a cut error rate, a faster shift start, a training program that reduced turnover.
One page for anyone under roughly seven years of supervisory experience. Two pages becomes reasonable once you have managed a full facility, held a multi-shift operations role, or built a certification and cost-savings history long enough that cutting it would lose real information.
Many warehouse supervisors are promoted from the floor without a degree, and that path is common and respected in this field. If you do not have a degree, lead with your promotion history and safety record instead, and list any supply chain or logistics coursework or certification you do hold.
List each assignment with the actual employer or facility name, dates and what you did, the same as any other role. If several were short-term through the same staffing agency, you can group them under the agency’s name with the individual facilities noted, which reads as steady work through one employer rather than several short stints.
Upload what you have. We rewrite it against the standards our writers built over 80,000 resumes, and you read the whole thing before deciding anything.
