Hiration Review
An honest look at Hiration's pricing, AI scoring and interview tools, and what ResumeFox does differently.
What each one actually costs over twelve months
Hiration's pricing is USD throughout, despite its New Delhi registration, and its free tier is more generous than most on this site: 5 downloads, not zero. The paid tiers scale by AI usage limits more than by feature unlocks, and the Annual plan is one of the cheapest full-year options compared on this site. ResumeFox is one plan at a different scale: 7 days free, then $79 a month, with a career coach included alongside the software.
- Free plan includes 5 Word-format downloads, not zero
- Advertises a "3-day money-back guarantee" that its own Terms of Service don't clearly support once a period has started
- A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, with unlimited written messages
- Never gives a score for fit to a job; named problems and bands only
- Nothing is charged during the 7 free days, and the plan carries a 6 month job offer guarantee
Hiration's Annual plan ($99.99) is one of the cheapest full-year prices on this site; left running month to month it is about $300 a year. A year of ResumeFox is $948, which includes the coach throughout. Confirm the exact price and refund terms on the checkout screen before entering a card, given the gap between Hiration's advertised guarantee and its Terms of Service.
The full side-by-side comparison
Grouped by what actually matters: where the writing comes from, whether the file survives the software, whether the resume gets aimed at the job you want, and what it costs to keep using.
A half-filled circle means the feature exists but with a real limitation, described in the cell.
More templates is not the same as more good templates
A large share of the designs these builders promote use two columns, a headshot slot, or skills drawn as dots and bars. Those choices are the reason a resume arrives shredded: the sidebar gets read straight across into the middle of your job history, and a skills graphic says nothing once the picture is gone.
ResumeFox ships 10 templates plus a US federal layout. Not one has a sidebar, a photo or a chart. They differ in typography and emphasis, never in whether they parse.
- Whether a parser reads your name, email, phone and dates
- Whether anything is trapped in a table, column or image
- Named problems, not a grade out of 100
What each one is genuinely good and bad at
A full AI career platform for the price: resume builder, AI resume score, interview practice, cover letters and LinkedIn rewriting all in one account, priced in USD with a genuinely useful free tier. Its ATS score and "designed to pass the ATS" claim, and a refund guarantee its own Terms don't clearly back up, are the two things worth reading closely before paying.
- Free plan includes 5 Word-format downloads and an AI review, not just a locked preview
- Unlimited AI assistant, resume analysis, live review and job-resume matching on every paid tier
- Annual plan at $99.99 is one of the cheapest full-year options on this site
- LinkedIn rewriting and AI-evaluated interview practice included, not sold separately
- States its builder is "designed to pass" the ATS and gives a numeric score to chase — the promise this category can't actually make
- Pricing page advertises a 3-day refund guarantee its own Terms of Service don't clearly support once a billing period has started
- Its Terms of Service name the operating company as "Arise Careers, Inc.," not "Hiration, Inc." as the site's own footer states elsewhere
- No live job-board search or application tracker found
Built by a resume-writing firm rather than an AI platform, and sold as one plan with a career coach included. The standards come from real work, not an algorithm, and every finding is a named problem or a band, never a score to chase.
- A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, with unlimited written messages and a $20 30-minute call whenever you want one
- Standards drawn from 80,000+ hand-written resumes by 100+ CPRW-certified US writers and recruiters
- Never scores fit or readiness as a number; named problems and bands only, with an Application Tracker and Offer Negotiation included
- 6 month job offer guarantee: If you have paid for our service for 6 consecutive months, and you have not received a job offer, we'll continue to work with you for 6 additional months at no cost.
- $79 a month, several times what a builder subscription costs
- 11 templates against Hiration's 30 on paid plans
- No numeric score of any kind, which some job seekers specifically want to see move
- Coaching is written messages; a phone call is a $20 add-on rather than part of the price
See your resume rebuilt against standards from 80,000+ real resumes
Upload the resume you already have. We rewrite it against the standards our writers built over 80,000 resumes, then help you target it, application by application, instead of leaving you with just a document.

Is Hiration legit?
Yes, with one naming wrinkle worth knowing: its own Terms of Service name the operating company as "Arise Careers, Inc.," doing business as Hiration, while its site footer separately says "Hiration, Inc." It holds a 4.6★ rating on Trustpilot from 678 reviews. Its LinkedIn page states a 2017 founding and a San Francisco Bay Area headquarters; other sources describe a registered entity in New Delhi, India, and Y Combinator as an investor.
How much does Hiration cost, and is it priced in dollars or rupees?
In US dollars, throughout. Its core builder is free forever (with 5 downloads). Paid plans are $24.99/month, $49.99 every 3 months, or $99.99 for a full year, each unlocking unlimited AI tools and more templates.
Does Hiration really offer a money-back guarantee?
Its pricing page says yes: a "3-Day Money-Back Guarantee" on every paid plan. Its Terms of Service say something narrower: cancelling partway through a billing period does not get you a refund of fees already paid, with refunds considered only if a technical fault on Hiration's own side is confirmed. The two pages do not clearly agree, so read the actual Terms, not just the pricing page, before paying. ResumeFox charges nothing during its 7 free days, so cancelling inside them costs nothing, and it carries a 6 month job offer guarantee.
Does Hiration give my resume a score?
Yes. Its homepage advertises "Instant AI feedback + ATS score on your resume" and "Detailed score analysis," and states its builder is "specifically designed to pass" Applicant Tracking Systems. ResumeFox never does either: it names specific, checkable problems on the readability half, and uses bands, never a number, on the fit-to-a-posting half — and treats "pass the ATS" as a promise nobody can actually make.
Is ResumeFox cheaper than Hiration?
No. Hiration is $24.99 a month, or $99.99 for a full year; ResumeFox is $79 a month after 7 free days, which is $948 over a year. The difference is what the $79 includes: a career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com with unlimited written messages, plus the resume rebuild, per-posting tailoring, job sourcing, interview prep, LinkedIn, the Application Tracker, offer negotiation and a 6 month job offer guarantee. Hiration also has a free plan with 5 Word-format downloads; ResumeFox has one plan with 7 free days.
Does Hiration have a job tracker or an application tracker?
No evidence of a saved-job pipeline or application tracker was found on Hiration's public site. Its "Job Resume Matcher" scores your resume against a job description you provide; it isn't a live job search or a tracker. ResumeFox's Application Tracker keeps one record per job, with a targeted resume, cover letter, interview prep and offer notes attached to it.
Does Hiration do interview preparation?
Yes: AI-generated interview questions and AI-evaluated answers, scaled by plan (from 2 evaluations free up to unlimited on the Yearly plan). It's built from the job description and role rather than from live research on the specific hiring company, which is the same real limitation ResumeFox's own live-research approach is built to avoid.
How we compared these
Pricing is read from each provider's own checkout or pricing page. Feature claims are checked against each product's live interface. Where we could not confirm something ourselves, it is not on this page.
Where numbers disagree
Entry prices in this category differ across landing pages and promotions. Where that happens we give the observed range rather than one figure, and say so.
Our disclosure
This page is published by ResumeFox, one of the products compared. We have an obvious interest in your choosing it. That is why every claim about a competitor is one you can check on their own site, and why we name the rows they win.
