ApplyAll Review

An honest look at what ApplyAll actually does and costs, and what ResumeFox does differently.

Pricing

What each one actually costs over twelve months

ApplyAll doesn't price like a subscription resume tool: it's a one-time payment for a fixed batch of hand-reviewed applications, with a money-back Interview Guarantee attached. Figures below are the current sale prices shown on applyall.com's own pricing section. ResumeFox is one plan at $79 a month after 7 free days, and that price buys the resume work plus a career professional you can write to. Read the two cards as what they are: a batch of submitted applications, and ongoing tools with a person included.

ResumeFox
TopStack Resume
(this site)
Built on real resume-writing experience
Where the writing standards come from
Applying with your resume isn't the same as improving it.
No. Doesn't write or rebuild your resume on its Standard or Premium packages; applications go out using the resume you upload as-is. A full rewrite exists only inside the separate VIP Coaching add-on, done by a named human coach (Brian Richie of Career Elevator), not a resume-writing firm or CPRW-credentialed writer
Yes. Standards drawn from 80,000+ resumes written by hand by 100+ CPRW-certified US writers and recruiters
Rewrites the resume you already have
Not importing it: rewriting it.
No. Doesn't rewrite your resume; a human reviewer checks each application against your stated preferences and flags 'obvious typos, file issues, or other rejection magnets' before submitting, but the document itself isn't rebuilt unless you buy VIP Coaching
Yes. Upload it and the AI rebuilds it section by section, against the same standards above
ATS readability check
What actually gets checked, not just a number.
No. Not offered. ApplyAll has no resume-scanning or ATS-checking tool on its public site
Yes. 12 named problems checked against real parsing behavior, not a score out of 100
Templates that actually parse
Templates with sidebars, photos or skill graphics
There's nothing to check, because there's no builder.
No. No template gallery. ApplyAll isn't a resume builder; you bring your own resume file, in whatever format and layout it's already in
Yes. None. No sidebar, no photo, no skills chart, anywhere
Number of templates
Choice for its own sake is cheap.
No. 0. No resume builder or template gallery is offered at any tier
Partly. 10 designs plus a US federal layout
Targeting the job, not just building the resume
Tailoring to a specific job posting
ApplyAll's value is in where it applies, not what it changes.
No. Applications go out with your existing resume unchanged; ApplyAll's value is in which jobs it applies you to and getting the form filled out accurately, not in rewriting your materials per posting
Yes. Targeted version per posting; master resume stays untouched, every change reported
Cover letter for that same posting
No. Not offered at any tier, including VIP Coaching, per ApplyAll's own site
Yes. Drafted from the posting and your targeted resume, with the reasoning behind it shown
Job search read against your resume
Sourcing, not just matching.
Yes. Crawls what it describes as 50,000+ companies' own career pages directly, not just job boards, and states a live database of over 1M active jobs; ranks matches by interview-probability using outcomes data it says comes from thousands of past applicants. Skips applications with open-ended essay questions it can't honestly answer from your resume
Yes. Live postings from the major boards, with a fit check against your master resume; a stretch role is labeled a reach
Applies to the jobs for you
This is the core of ApplyAll's product.
Yes. A human submits every application under review, at the volume your package covers (100 or 200); a real-time list shows every job you were applied to, plus an email confirmation for each one
No. Does not submit applications; each targeted application is prepared for you to review and send yourself
Interview preparation
Company-specific, or none at all.
Partly. Only inside the separate VIP Coaching add-on (price on request): 3 live mock interviews and interview-to-offer training with a named human coach; not included in the $249 or $299 packages
Yes. Prep built from live research on the company and role, plus a browser mock interview; video never leaves your machine
LinkedIn optimization
Partly. A 'LinkedIn and positioning overhaul' is part of VIP Coaching only, done by the human coach; not offered on Standard or Premium
Yes. Headline, About and experience rewritten from your master resume
Billing and support
What it renews at
The number nobody puts in headline size.
Yes. Nothing, on Standard or Premium: a one-time payment of $249 or $299 (current sale prices) for a fixed batch of applications, no subscription
Partly. $79 a month after the 7 free days, with the coach included. Nothing is charged during the trial
Refund policy
Real, but conditional.
Partly. A specific guarantee: 100% refund if you don't get a qualifying live first-round interview with the hiring company within 30 days of your last application going out. It comes with conditions — you must keep your account active and keep ApplyAll's proxy email connected through that window, or the guarantee is voided
Yes. Nothing is charged during the 7 free days, so cancelling inside them costs nothing. Then the 6 month job offer guarantee: If you have paid for our service for 6 consecutive months, and you have not received a job offer, we'll continue to work with you for 6 additional months at no cost.
Support
Partly. Email support (team@applyall.com); response-time commitment not stated publicly
Yes. A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, included: unlimited written messages, and $20 for a 30-minute phone call

A half-filled circle means the feature exists but with a real limitation, described in the cell.

Templates & ATS

More templates is not the same as more good templates

A large share of the designs these builders promote use two columns, a headshot slot, or skills drawn as dots and bars. Those choices are the reason a resume arrives shredded: the sidebar gets read straight across into the middle of your job history, and a skills graphic says nothing once the picture is gone.

ResumeFox ships 10 templates plus a US federal layout. Not one has a sidebar, a photo or a chart. They differ in typography and emphasis, never in whether they parse.

What each one is genuinely good and bad at

ApplyAll
4.8★ / 71
Apply All, Inc. · LA & NYC · Trustpilot, claimed profile since November 2023

A done-for-you job application service, not a resume builder: you supply your existing resume and search preferences, ApplyAll's team finds and ranks matching postings from thousands of companies' own career pages, and a human submits each application under review. Backed by a narrowly-defined, real money-back Interview Guarantee.

Strengths
  • 100% refund if you don't get a qualifying live employer interview within 30 days, defined specifically enough to mean something
  • Sources postings by crawling companies' own career pages directly, not just the major job boards, and ranks them by historical interview odds
  • A human reviews and submits every application, and skips applications with essay questions it can't answer honestly from your resume
  • One-time payment, no subscription, on its Standard and Premium packages
Watch out for
  • Doesn't build, rewrite or template your resume; a full rewrite is a separate, sales-call-gated VIP Coaching add-on with an unpublished price
  • No cover letters, no LinkedIn optimization and no ATS check at any tier
  • “No AI. Just US-based humans” is its own marketing line; its Terms separately describe using AI for job matching and resume suggestions — the two don’t fully agree
  • The refund guarantee has real conditions attached: an active account and a connected proxy email through the full 30 days

TopStack Resume · US writers, founded 2018

Built by a resume-writing firm rather than an application-submission service, and sold as one plan with a career coach included. The standards come from real work, not a phrase library, and the plan covers the whole job search, a person to ask, tailoring, tracking and sourcing, not just the document, in one price.

Strengths
  • A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, with unlimited written messages and a $20 30-minute call whenever you want one
  • Standards drawn from 80,000+ hand-written resumes by 100+ CPRW-certified US writers and recruiters
  • Per-posting tailoring, a matching cover letter, job sourcing, interview prep, LinkedIn and a tracker included in one plan, not billed separately
  • 6 month job offer guarantee: If you have paid for our service for 6 consecutive months, and you have not received a job offer, we'll continue to work with you for 6 additional months at no cost.
Watch out for
  • $79 a month, several times what a builder subscription costs
  • Doesn't submit applications on your behalf; ApplyAll's core feature has no equivalent here
  • The job offer guarantee pays in six more months of the service, not in money back
  • ResumeFox itself has no reviews yet; the reviews above are TopStack’s

FAQ

Questions people ask before they pick one

Still stuck? Email a human: someone answers, usually within one business day.

Is ApplyAll legit?

Yes. Apply All, Inc. is a real, operating company (LA and NYC) with a 4.8-star Trustpilot rating from 71 reviews as of September 2026 (claimed profile since November 2023, 97% five-star). Its founder, Tal Flanchraych, states on the site that she was a product manager at Indeed before building ApplyAll.

How much does ApplyAll cost?

As of September 2026, ApplyAll's current sale prices are $249 one-time for 100 hand-reviewed applications (list price $299) or $299 one-time for 200 applications (list price $349), both with no subscription. VIP Career Coaching, which adds a human coach, a full resume rewrite, LinkedIn work and interview training, doesn't list a price publicly and requires a free strategy call.

Is ApplyAll worth it?

For someone who wants applications actually submitted for them at volume, with a human checking each one and a real refund if it doesn't produce an interview, its structure and its independently-hosted rating suggest it does roughly what it says. What it doesn't do is touch your resume itself unless you pay separately for VIP Coaching, so the quality of what goes out is limited by the resume you hand it.

Does ApplyAll write or improve my resume?

Not on its Standard or Premium packages. You upload your existing resume, and a human reviewer checks it against your stated preferences and flags obvious problems (typos, file issues) before applying, but the content isn't rewritten. A full rewrite, done by a named human coach rather than software, is part of the separate VIP Coaching program.

What exactly does ApplyAll's Interview Guarantee cover?

A 100% refund if you don't receive at least one qualifying interview within 30 days of your last purchased application being submitted. A qualifying interview is defined specifically: a live first-round phone or video conversation with someone who works directly for the hiring company. Automated screeners, take-home assessments, one-way HireVue-style video interviews, and screens with third-party recruiters or agencies don't count, even if they're a company's standard first step. You also have to keep your account active and keep ApplyAll's proxy email connected for the full 30 days, or the guarantee is voided.

Is ResumeFox cheaper than ApplyAll?

They're priced too differently to compare directly. ApplyAll is a one-time $249 or $299 for a fixed batch of applications with no ongoing access; ResumeFox is $79 a month after 7 free days, $948 for a year, for a career coach in the US you can write to as often as you like plus the resume builder, tailoring, job sourcing, interview prep and a tracker. If what you want is applications submitted for you, ApplyAll is the cheaper single purchase; if you want an actual resume and cover letter built and rewritten, and someone to ask about it, ResumeFox is the one built to do that.

What happens if I don't like it?

ApplyAll's Standard and Premium packages carry the Interview Guarantee described above, which is about getting an interview, not general satisfaction; outside that guarantee, its Terms state payments are non-refundable. ResumeFox charges nothing during its 7 free days, so cancelling inside them costs you nothing, and you can cancel anytime from your account. After that, the 6 month job offer guarantee applies. If you have paid for our service for 6 consecutive months, and you have not received a job offer, we'll continue to work with you for 6 additional months at no cost.

Does ApplyAll use AI?

Its own marketing says "No AI. Just US-based humans who want to help," and a human does review and submit each application. But ApplyAll's Terms of Service state separately that it "uses artificial intelligence and other automated processes" for job matching and to "refine our AI algorithms," including "optimizing your resume" as a described capability. The two statements don't fully agree; the most defensible read is that matching and ranking are automated, while the actual application submission is human-reviewed.

How we compared these

Pricing is read from each provider's own checkout or pricing page. Feature claims are checked against each product's live interface. Where we could not confirm something ourselves, it is not on this page.

Where numbers disagree

Entry prices in this category differ across landing pages and promotions. Where that happens we give the observed range rather than one figure, and say so.

Our disclosure

This page is published by ResumeFox, one of the products compared. We have an obvious interest in your choosing it. That is why every claim about a competitor is one you can check on their own site, and why we name the rows they win.
