AIApply Review
An honest look at what AIApply actually does and costs, and what ResumeFox does differently.
What each one actually costs over twelve months
AIApply doesn’t price like a resume builder: aiapply.co/pricing redirects back to the homepage, and the figures below come from AIApply’s own Help Center rather than a public pricing page. Its tools are billed as separate subscriptions rather than one plan, and the tool that gives the site its name, Auto Apply, costs more than the resume tools alone. ResumeFox is one plan at $79 a month after 7 free days, and that price buys the resume work plus a career professional you can write to. Read the two sides as what they are: software priced by the tool, and tools with a person included.
- No free trial; Auto Apply, Interview Buddy and resume/cover-letter tailoring are each separate add-on subscriptions
- Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have been submitted
- A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, included in the price
- Tailoring, a matching cover letter, job sourcing, prep and tracking all in the one plan, plus a 6 month job offer guarantee
AIApply publishes no pricing page; the figures above come from AIApply’s own Help Center, current as of September 2026. A support article can go stale before a live checkout screen does, so confirm current pricing inside the app before paying.
The full side-by-side comparison
Grouped by what actually matters: where the writing comes from, whether the file survives the software, whether the resume gets aimed at the job you want, and what it costs to keep using.
A half-filled circle means the feature exists but with a real limitation, described in the cell.
More templates is not the same as more good templates
A large share of the designs these builders promote use two columns, a headshot slot, or skills drawn as dots and bars. Those choices are the reason a resume arrives shredded: the sidebar gets read straight across into the middle of your job history, and a skills graphic says nothing once the picture is gone.
ResumeFox ships 10 templates plus a US federal layout. Not one has a sidebar, a photo or a chart. They differ in typography and emphasis, never in whether they parse.
- Whether a parser reads your name, email, phone and dates
- Whether anything is trapped in a table, column or image
- Named problems, not a grade out of 100
What each one is genuinely good and bad at
A volume-first job-application suite built around Auto Apply, its credit-based tool for submitting applications at scale, with a separate resume builder, cover letter generator and mock-interview tools you can also run manually. Tailoring for Auto Apply and Interview Buddy’s live coaching are both separate paid add-ons.
- Auto Apply can submit applications without a per-job click once Auto Mode is on, across major ATS platforms
- One flat monthly Premium price covers the manual Resume Builder, Cover Letter Generator, Application Kit and Mock Interview Tool
- Job board shows a numeric fit score and named gaps for each posting
- Interview Buddy offers live, real-time suggested answers during an actual interview
- No free trial, and subscription fees are generally non-refundable once used
- Auto Apply, Interview Buddy and resume/cover-letter tailoring are each billed separately from Premium and from each other
- Without the tailoring add-ons, Auto Apply submits the same resume and cover letter to every job
- No LinkedIn optimization, and no application tracking beyond the Auto Apply dashboard
Built by a resume-writing firm rather than an application-automation shop, and sold as one plan with a career coach included. The standards come from real work, not a phrase library, and the plan covers the whole job search, a person to ask, tailoring, tracking and sourcing, not just the document, in one price.
- A career coach of your own, a career professional in the US from TopStack.com, with unlimited written messages and a $20 30-minute call whenever you want one
- Standards drawn from 80,000+ hand-written resumes by 100+ CPRW-certified US writers and recruiters
- Per-posting tailoring, a matching cover letter, job sourcing, interview prep, LinkedIn and a tracker included in one plan, not billed separately
- 6 month job offer guarantee: If you have paid for our service for 6 consecutive months, and you have not received a job offer, we'll continue to work with you for 6 additional months at no cost.
- $79 a month, several times what a builder subscription costs
- 10 templates and no job-application-volume tool: a different kind of product from AIApply’s Auto Apply
- Coaching is written messages; a phone call is a $20 add-on rather than part of the price
- Does not submit applications automatically; each targeted application is prepared for you to review and send yourself
See your resume rebuilt against standards from 80,000+ real resumes
Upload the resume you already have. We rewrite it against the standards our writers built over 80,000 resumes, then help you target it, application by application, instead of leaving you with just a document.

Is AIApply legit?
Yes. AIApply Ltd is a registered UK company (Company No. 15200716, based in Leicester) with a 4.2-star rating from 1,818 reviews on its own Trustpilot page as of September 2026. That doesn’t mean every feature works the way a first look suggests: there’s no free trial, and Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have gone out.
How much does AIApply cost?
AIApply prices its tools separately rather than as one plan. Premium (Resume Builder, Cover Letter Generator, Application Kit, Mock Interview Tool) is $29/month or $144/year. Auto Apply, the tool that submits applications, is its own subscription starting at $49/month for 100 applications, up to $499/month for 2,000. Interview Buddy is $19/month or $99/year, and tailoring resumes or cover letters for Auto Apply costs $12/month each, on top of an Auto Apply plan. Figures are from AIApply’s own Help Center as of September 2026; there is no public pricing page, so confirm current prices inside the app before paying.
Is AIApply worth it?
For submitting a high volume of applications with little manual effort, it does what it advertises. What it doesn’t do by default is tailor each application: Auto Apply sends your base resume and cover letter to every job unless you pay for the separate tailoring add-ons, which runs against the idea that a posting-specific application tends to do better than a generic one sent at scale.
Does AIApply write or tailor the resume itself?
Its Resume Builder generates a new draft from your uploaded resume or LinkedIn profile, and can tailor it to a job you paste in, but that’s a manual step you repeat per posting. Within Auto Apply specifically, resumes and cover letters are only tailored per job if you buy the separate Tailored Resume and Tailored Cover Letter add-ons; without them, Auto Apply reuses the same materials for every application.
Does AIApply actually apply to jobs on my behalf?
Yes, that’s what Auto Apply is built for: once you set your job criteria and choose Auto Mode, it submits applications without waiting for your approval, including multi-step applications that ask custom questions, using credits (one credit per submitted application). Hybrid and Review modes let you approve jobs above or below a fit-score threshold before they go out.
Is ResumeFox cheaper than AIApply?
No, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. AIApply’s Premium plan is $29 a month or $144 a year, with Auto Apply, Interview Buddy and the tailoring add-ons priced and billed separately on top. ResumeFox is one plan at $79 a month after 7 free days, and that buys the resume work plus a career coach in the US you can write to as often as you like, a targeted resume and cover letter for each job, job sourcing, interview prep, LinkedIn optimization, the tracker and the 6 month job offer guarantee. ResumeFox does not submit applications automatically.
What happens if I don’t like it?
ResumeFox charges nothing during its 7 free days, so cancelling inside them costs you nothing, and you can cancel anytime from your account. AIApply’s subscription fees are generally non-refundable; its Help Center describes narrow exceptions for a reproducible technical issue or an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes, and states plainly that Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have been submitted.
Will AIApply’s resume pass an ATS?
No resume tool can promise that: an ATS is software each employer configures differently, and there’s no universal 'pass'. AIApply’s own marketing uses the phrase 'Beat ATS Systems'. ResumeFox’s position is that the objective part, whether a parser can actually read the document, is countable and worth showing, and the match to a specific posting is a judgment call that never gets reduced to a score.
How we compared these
Pricing is read from each provider's own checkout or pricing page. Feature claims are checked against each product's live interface. Where we could not confirm something ourselves, it is not on this page.
Where numbers disagree
Entry prices in this category differ across landing pages and promotions. Where that happens we give the observed range rather than one figure, and say so.
Our disclosure
This page is published by ResumeFox, one of the products compared. We have an obvious interest in your choosing it. That is why every claim about a competitor is one you can check on their own site, and why we name the rows they win.
