A large share of the designs these builders promote use two columns, a headshot slot, or skills drawn as dots and bars. Those choices are the reason a resume arrives shredded: the sidebar gets read straight across into the middle of your job history, and a skills graphic says nothing once the picture is gone.

Is ZenResume still around?

The website is, but its resume builder isn't. As of 2026-09-23, zenresume.com's homepage states "ZenResume's builder is no longer available" and its one button sends visitors to ResumeLab, a different product. The rest of the site is a career-advice blog that stopped publishing in March 2021.

What happened to the ZenResume builder?

We don't have an official announcement to point to; ZenResume's own site simply says it "is no longer available" and redirects people to ResumeLab (app.resumelab.com), which carries the same "stress-free" tagline ZenResume used. Both are named in a 2026 federal lawsuit as products of the same parent company, BOLD Limited.

Is ZenResume a scam?

We found no evidence it takes payment for anything today; it has no pricing page and no builder. What we can say plainly: the site's own /about/, /privacy-policy/ and its Trustpilot listing name three different legal entities (Zen Resume Limited, BOLD LLC, and LABS Limited), and its /contact/ page did not return ZenResume content in our repeated testing. That's a confusing, poorly maintained web presence, not evidence of a scam.

Who owns ZenResume?

Its privacy policy names the operator as BOLD LLC of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. A federal antitrust complaint filed against BOLD Limited in April 2026 (Rocket Resume, Inc. v. BOLD Limited et al., N.D. Cal., No. 5:26-cv-02852) lists ZenResume among 15 resume-related sites it alleges are commonly owned by BOLD, including Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, Zety, LiveCareer, Resume Genius, Resume-Now and ResumeLab. Bold has moved to dismiss the suit and disputes the characterization.
