Is Jobscan legit?
Yes. It's a real, established product, founded in 2013 by CEO James Hu and running since. It has a 4.3★ rating on Trustpilot from 341 reviews, and the scanning, builder and job-tracking features it advertises on its own site are real and function as described.
Is Jobscan worth it?
It depends what you need. If you already have a resume and want it scored against a specific posting, with a free builder and job tracker layered on, Jobscan does that. If you need the resume written in the first place, Jobscan expects you to bring one; ResumeFox writes it from a scratch or an upload, for less money.
How much does Jobscan cost?
$49.95 a month, or $89.95 billed every 3 months (about $29.98/month). Its own cancellation-policy page describes only those two billing cadences for an individual account; no annual plan was found. A free tier gives 5 scans a month.
Does Jobscan build resumes or just check them?

What does the Match Rate score actually mean?
Jobscan's own resume-scanner page says a resume is scored 1 to 100% against a specific job posting, based on hard skills, education, job title, soft skills and other keywords, and recommends a score of 75%+ to “increase your interview chances.” It is a measure of keyword and format alignment to one posting, not a prediction that you'll get the job. ResumeFox avoids this kind of scoring on the fit side of a check entirely and names the specific gaps instead.
Does Jobscan track job applications or search for jobs?
Yes. A free Job Tracker organizes applications by stage and stores interview details, and Auto Apply drafts applications from live postings sourced across more than 20 ATS platforms, waiting for your approval before anything is submitted.
