Huntr's prices are read directly from its own pricing page, which itself contains a small inconsistency with its job-tracker FAQ page (noted above). It has no 14-day trial and no confirmed annual plan, so the yearly figures above are what a monthly or biannual plan costs left running for a year, not a discounted prepay the way ResumeFox's Annual is. Is Huntr legit?
Yes. It's operated by Huntr LLC, based in Seattle, and widely reported (Crunchbase, and independently corroborated by a named Huntr employee's LinkedIn post) as founded by Rennie Haylock; Huntr's own site does not name a founder. Independently, it holds a 4.5★ rating on Trustpilot from 21 reviews, a small sample Trustpilot itself flags as not recently solicited.
How much does Huntr cost?
Huntr's free plan includes a resume builder, 2 job-tailored resumes, 2 cover letters, a job tracker for up to 100 jobs, and free application autofill. Huntr Pro removes those caps for $40/month, $90 every 3 months (about $30/month), or $160 every 6 months (about $27/month); there's no annual plan and no free trial of Pro.
Is ResumeFox cheaper than Huntr?
ResumeFox's Annual price, $95.40, costs less than a third of Huntr's cheapest confirmed plan left running for a year (biannual, $160 every 6 months, about $320/year). Does Huntr autofill job applications for me?
Yes, for free. Its Chrome extension autofills applications on "1000's of sites" and saves the details to your tracker automatically. ResumeFox has no autofill; you submit each application on the employer's own site.
Does Huntr give a resume score?
Yes, two: a Base Resume Score for general best practices, and a Job Match Score against a specific posting, both presented as numbers (Huntr's own FAQ calls "over 80" a good score). ResumeFox never scores either: named problems on the readability half, bands only on the fit-to-a-posting half.
Does Huntr help me find jobs, or just track them?
Mostly track them. Huntr's Chrome Job Clipper saves a posting from wherever you found it (LinkedIn, Indeed, a careers page) into your tracker; it doesn't search job boards for you. ResumeFox's Job Sourcing actively searches live postings from the major boards and ranks them against your resume.
