Hloom doesn't have one clean price to quote. What hloom.com itself shows today is Monster's builder, and Monster says plainly that it's free with no card required. Trustpilot's separate Hloom listing tells a different story: real, recent reviews describing a paid monthly subscription. A large share of the designs these builders promote use two columns, a headshot slot, or skills drawn as dots and bars. Those choices are the reason a resume arrives shredded: the sidebar gets read straight across into the middle of your job history, and a skills graphic says nothing once the picture is gone.

Is Hloom still a real company?
Its name is still active on Trustpilot, rated 4.6 stars from 110 reviews as of 2026-09-23, with reviews as recent as this month. But visiting hloom.com directly does not show a Hloom-branded product: it shows Monster's resume builder pages. We could not find a separate, live Hloom checkout page to reconcile the two.
Why does hloom.com show Monster.com?
We don't have an official announcement to point to. What we can confirm directly: hloom.com and hloom.com/resume/builder both load Monster-branded pages today, and Monster itself was acquired out of CareerBuilder's 2025 bankruptcy by BOLD Limited in a deal that closed July 31, 2025. A 2026 federal lawsuit separately names both Hloom and Monster among 15 sites it alleges are commonly owned by BOLD.
How much does Hloom cost?
We couldn't get a straight answer from hloom.com itself, because it no longer shows separate Hloom pricing. What it shows today (Monster's builder) is free with no card required, per Monster's own FAQ. Recent Trustpilot reviewers of "Hloom" describe an active paid subscription instead, with one January 2026 reviewer citing $9.95 a month; we could not verify that figure on a live page ourselves.
Is Hloom legit?
Its Trustpilot listing is real, well-established (claimed since October 2019) and well-rated. What we can't reconcile is the pricing: the branded page the domain shows today is free, while recent reviewers describe paying monthly. That's a real gap in our research, not an accusation, and we've laid out exactly what we could and couldn't confirm above.
Is ResumeFox cheaper than Hloom?
If what hloom.com shows today (Monster's free builder) is what you'd actually be charged, then no: Monster's builder and downloads are free, and ResumeFox's Full Access starts at $2.95 for 14 days, then $23.95 every 4 weeks. If the $9.95-a-month figure a Trustpilot reviewer cited for "Hloom" is closer to what a subscriber actually pays, it undercuts ResumeFox's $23.95 recurring price. What's the antitrust lawsuit about?
Rocket Resume, Inc. sued BOLD Limited in April 2026 (N.D. Cal., No. 5:26-cv-02852), alleging that Hloom, ZenResume, Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and 11 other resume sites are commonly owned, "functionally identical" storefronts used to disguise one pricing scheme. Bold moved to dismiss in June 2026, calling the suit "a deficient effort to twist lawful conduct into an antitrust violation" and noting that selling similar products under different brand names is not on its own improper. It's a real, checkable filing; the allegations haven't been decided by a court.
