Is AIApply legit?
Yes. AIApply Ltd is a registered UK company (Company No. 15200716, based in Leicester) with a 4.2-star rating from 1,818 reviews on its own Trustpilot page as of September 2026. That doesn’t mean every feature works the way a first look suggests: there’s no free trial, and Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have gone out.
How much does AIApply cost?
AIApply prices its tools separately rather than as one plan. Premium (Resume Builder, Cover Letter Generator, Application Kit, Mock Interview Tool) is $29/month or $144/year. Auto Apply, the tool that submits applications, is its own subscription starting at $49/month for 100 applications, up to $499/month for 2,000. Interview Buddy is $19/month or $99/year, and tailoring resumes or cover letters for Auto Apply costs $12/month each, on top of an Auto Apply plan. Is AIApply worth it?
For submitting a high volume of applications with little manual effort, it does what it advertises. What it doesn’t do by default is tailor each application: Auto Apply sends your base resume and cover letter to every job unless you pay for the separate tailoring add-ons, which runs against the idea that a posting-specific application tends to do better than a generic one sent at scale.
Does AIApply write or tailor the resume itself?
Its Resume Builder generates a new draft from your uploaded resume or LinkedIn profile, and can tailor it to a job you paste in, but that’s a manual step you repeat per posting. Within Auto Apply specifically, resumes and cover letters are only tailored per job if you buy the separate Tailored Resume and Tailored Cover Letter add-ons; without them, Auto Apply reuses the same materials for every application.
Does AIApply actually apply to jobs on my behalf?
Yes, that’s what Auto Apply is built for: once you set your job criteria and choose Auto Mode, it submits applications without waiting for your approval, including multi-step applications that ask custom questions, using credits (one credit per submitted application). Hybrid and Review modes let you approve jobs above or below a fit-score threshold before they go out.
Is ResumeFox cheaper than AIApply?
It depends what you compare. ResumeFox’s $23.95 every 4 weeks (or $95.40 a year) is close to AIApply’s Premium plan alone ($29/month or $144/year), and cheaper than Premium once you add Auto Apply, Interview Buddy or the tailoring add-ons, which AIApply prices and bills separately. What happens if I don’t like it?
ResumeFox carries a 14-day money-back guarantee. AIApply’s subscription fees are generally non-refundable; its Help Center describes narrow exceptions for a reproducible technical issue or an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes, and states plainly that Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have been submitted.
Will AIApply’s resume pass an ATS?
No resume tool can promise that: an ATS is software each employer configures differently, and there’s no universal 'pass'. AIApply’s own marketing uses the phrase 'Beat ATS Systems'. ResumeFox’s position is that the objective part, whether a parser can actually read the document, is countable and worth showing, and the match to a specific posting is a judgment call that never gets reduced to a score.
